Matrimonial Services

Four ways to find the right match — all of them free

A matrimonial gathering
A matrimonial gathering

Matrimonial work is the Trust’s largest project, and the one families come back to.

It runs in four ways, and a family is welcome to use any or all of them. Registration is free and there is no entry fee — at any stage.

The get-together events are for Memon boys and girls — unmarried, divorced and widowed. Registration before the event is compulsory.

Four services

Which way would you like to start?

01

Online Matchmaking

Send your details on WhatsApp and the Trust searches its register for you. Free.

Most families start here. Send the biodata on WhatsApp — age, education, work, family details and what you are looking for. The Trust matches it against its register and comes back to you with names. Nothing is charged, and your details are not passed on to anyone outside the process.

02

Weekly Offline Meeting

A counselling and matchmaking sitting at the Trust office, every week.

Once a week the Trust holds a matchmaking and counselling sitting at its office. Families come, sit with the volunteers, go through the register together and talk things through properly — which is often what a difficult search actually needs. Come to the Khar office, or call ahead to confirm the day.

City-wise Get-Together Events

Large matrimonial gatherings held city by city across India.

The get-together events are the Trust’s best known matrimonial work. Boys, girls and their families gather in one hall for a morning, meet several prospects in person, and take it forward from there. Registration before the event is compulsory and free — there is no entry on the day without it, and there is no entry fee.

Cross-Border Matchmaking

Matches between families in India and families settled abroad.

Families settled in the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, the UAE and Saudi Arabia write to the Trust looking for a match back home — and families in India ask for the same in the other direction. The Trust keeps both sides on one register so a search does not stop at the border.

A free Rishta camp for persons with disabilities

The Trust holds a separate matchmaking gathering for Muslim persons with disabilities — for candidates and families who are rarely served anywhere else. Registration is free.
